In 1973 my family bought a new sofa at Gervurtz to watch TV on in the family room, it was a black, high backed spanish style in fake leather. I thought it was stylish at the time, but later realized it was cheap and uncomfortable and tore easily. Maybe we should have availed ourselves of their service
I remember their TV ads. Yep, as goofy, bright, and fake-classy as you could get in the early 70’s.
