I love a good alley, and homes that have attached businesses to them (ACUs), so this one is a good one. Brand spankin’ new. 1970s downtown Portland. Still think about this abandoned airline stairs under the Amtrak tracks in downtown Oregon City (next to Corner 14 - Spicer's at the time). It's back at PDX! This abstract mural by renowned Oregon painter Louis Bunce was "controversial" when it was added to the walls of the airport back in the 50s. Swiping this great story from @urbanworkspdx: Classic storefront retail/residential (or Accessory Commercial Unit) on SE Milwaukie. #IYKYK. Portland/Sellwood noir.
