It’s gone, has been since the mid-1960s. My mother worked there, cocktail waitress and relief bartender. There were some great stories about the place, the locals called it the ‘Anchor Crackpot’. The bar was intimate, the dining rooms adequate, the food world-class. Used to get senators in when they held the Dorchester conferences.
