The quintessential NW boy’s room – 1968

From Portland and Vancouver-based Christensen Homes’ “A Better Way of Living” publication comes this jewel:

A whole table for Lincoln Logs!

That looks like it would be an awesome room for today. I’m afraid my (slightly later) Oregon boy’s room wasn’t nearly as cool (or big).

Eerily similar to my neighbor Armin Bestel’s treehouse in NE Portland back then. Unfortunately it was hit by lightning & burned to the ground. HaHa Armin! – your pal, Johnny

I was so surprised to run across this article. I also remember Armin’s tree house burning down. I lived next door to Armin. That was a sad day on sumner street. Laurie
